Role- Area Legal ManagerProduct- SMERoles & responsibilities:Collaborate and engage with External Vendors to scrutinize property titlesPossess expertise in property title chains, property laws and mortgage laws with expertise and experience in affordable loans and LAPFormulate region specific policies pertaining to collateral and devise streamlined & effective processes for legal assessment. Vetting of Original Property Papers. Conduct regular training sessions at Branch for legal process & Resolving queries raised by Sales/Credit/Business/Operations team.

External Vendor management. Audit Resolutions for Internal Audit Department Process Training for New Employees (Pan India/State Level).

Detect and analyse gaps in case of any frauds related to property documents. Physically visit the authorities for verification of collateral. Track, Maintain OTC /PDD for timely closure.

Skills and Qualifications:Minimum of 2-3 years PQE of Legal with expertise in titles and mortgage laws in secured lending segment specific in LAP (SME) / HL.LLB/LLM.Good communication skills. Ability to execute strategies and opportunities to improve overall efficiencyWell verse with operations and technologies.
