The Lead Data Integration Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager of the Data Management sub-department and will manage the Data Integration team. The Lead Data Integration Engineer will lead the Data Integration projects delivered as part of wider Product Enablement engagements in which cross-functional teams in the Chatham Financial Asset Platform enable and customize the company product for our clients in the Commercial Real Estate industry. The role will be based in Romania.

In This Role You Will

  • Supporting existing integrations and functionality by monitoring and serving as the point of contact for business teams to resolve errors
  • Scheduling integrations and monitoring schedules and error logs
  • Troubleshooting and debugging issues related to integrations
  • Testing new system features and releases as they relate to integrations and assessing the impact of new releases on integrations
  • Should act as a mentor to the team in Chennai that works on Data Integration
  • Working on the design, development, testing, and implementation of new and updated integrations

Your Impact
As a Lead Data Integration Engineer, you will play a critical role as a technical expert representative, elaborate the Data Integration logic together with Data Integration Engineers and provide best practices. You'll collaborate with internal teams and lead the Data Integration team.

Contributors To Your Success

  • S. or M.S. in Statistics / Mathematics / Economics / Computer Science / Management Information Systems
  • Proven understanding of SQL database querying
  • Have a solid understanding of data warehouses and business intelligence tools proficient in writing analytical SQL and understand the difference between SQL that works, and performant SQL
  • Strong data analyst skills to transform the data in the warehouse using simple select statements.
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis best practices
  • Have experience using the command line and git
  • Proven knowledge of statistics, experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (MS Excel, Python scikit-learn etc.)
  • Represents a plus experience with any of the following: Snowflake, Power BI Desktop, Tableau etc.
