Job Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications
  • Work on database schema design, migrations, and data modeling using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
  • Write clean, modular, object-oriented PHP code following OOP and MVC architectural patterns.
  • Implement unit tests and ensure code quality using PHPUnit or similar
  • Use Git for version control: manage branches, pull requests, and code reviews
  • Optimize application performance (caching, query tuning, database optimization)
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues; maintain high standards for security and data protection
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI components
  • Participate in planning, estimation, and code review sessions
  • Contribute to continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD)where applicable

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in PHP development using Laravel
  • Strong understanding of OOP concepts and MVC architecture
  • Experience working with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Proficient with Git and version control workflows
  • Experience writing unit tests (PHPUnit or Laravel testing tools)
  • Good problem-solving skills and debugging experience
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Laravel ecosystem tools (Queues, Events, Scheduler, etc.)
  • Experience with real-time systems (WebSockets, broadcasting)
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools: Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Experience with front-end frameworks , React, etc.)
  • Understanding of security best practices (authentication, authorization, encryption)
