Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient
Tableau Developer
with 2–3 years of experience to support our BI reporting environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in
Tableau development and administration
, along with solid skills in
Linux
,
Python
,
PL/SQL
, and
Oracle
. Experience with
SAP Business Objects
is a plus. You will be responsible for maintaining the Tableau environment, ensuring performance, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

· Administer and maintain
Tableau Server environments
across development, testing, and production.

· Perform Tableau
dashboard/report development
, enhancements, and troubleshooting.

· Handle
incident tickets
,
problem resolution
, and
service requests
related to Tableau and reporting services.

· Proactively
monitor system health
, performance metrics, and usage statistics for Tableau.

· Ensure
high availability
and
SLA adherence
through system reviews, performance tuning, and proactive maintenance.

· Automate administrative and data processing tasks using
Python
and
Linux shell scripting
.

· Support backend operations involving
PL/SQL
and
Oracle databases
.

· Maintain proper
documentation
of infrastructure changes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting solutions and data accessibility.

· Perform
Linux-based
tasks such as log monitoring, file handling, script scheduling (cron jobs), and environment troubleshooting.

· Provide basic support and integration assistance for
SAP Business Objects
.

Required Skills & Experience:

· 2–3 years of experience in
Tableau development and administration Strong Linux experience
: comfortable with command-line, scripting, log analysis, file system operations, and process monitoring

· Proficiency in
Python
for scripting and automation

· Solid working knowledge of
PL/SQL
and
Oracle
database structures and queries

· Experience in handling Tableau server configurations, user access, extract scheduling, and issue resolution

· Basic exposure to
SAP Business Objects
