About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer with strong experience in modern backend technologies such as Java, Python, or C#. This is a hands-on role where youll collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to design, develop, and deliver scalable backend systems and APIs.

You will work in an agile environment following best practices such as Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and pair programming, ensuring high-quality and maintainable code delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define and deliver backend solutions.
  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure server-side systems.
  • Develop APIs, microservices, and distributed systems using modern backend frameworks.
  • Participate in agile development practices, including pair programming, TDD, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate infrastructure setup, deployment, and system monitoring.
  • Provide production support for deployed applications ("You build it, you run it" mindset).
  • Mentor junior engineers and support client team development.
  • Advocate best practices in software development and agile methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in backend development using Java, Python, or C# (experience in multiple languages is a plus).
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining enterprise-scale distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with microservice architecture and RESTful API design.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes), and version control (Git).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (GCP).
  • Strong understanding of TDD, automated testing, and modern agile practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

  • Experience working in containerized or cloud-native environments.
  • Exposure to DevOps, infrastructure automation, or observability tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team.
