Job Description: Sales Executive - ZED Facilitator

This role is a combination of sales, consulting, and facilitation, aimed at empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in their journey toward ZED (Zero Defect Zero Effect) certification. The Sales Executive - ZED Facilitator is responsible for driving the adoption of the ZED scheme and providing comprehensive support to clients through the certification process.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

1. Client Identification and Onboarding

  • Identify capable MSMEs and support them in registering on the ZED Certification Portal.
  • Assist clients in understanding the ZED scheme levels (Bronze/Silver/Gold) and associated benefits.
  • Drive interest and generate referrals within the MSME ecosystem for the ZED Bronze Certification.

2. Gap Assessment and Action Planning

  • Conduct pre-assessment or gap analysis based on ZED parameters.
  • Prepare customized action plans for improvement and compliance, focusing on ZED pillars like Quality Management, Safety, and Swachh Workplace.

3. Documentation and Evidence Collection

  • Support MSMEs in preparing and organizing required documents and records.
  • Guide clients or upload the accurate and complete evidence on the ZED portal.

4. Process Implementation Support

  • Facilitate basic implementation of best practices in quality, environment, safety, energy, and productivity.
  • Conduct on-site visits to MSME units, offering hands-on assistance and preparing them for successful certification audits.
  • Provide training on topics like fire extinguisher usage if applicable.

5. Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of facilitation activities, visit reports, and assessment status.
  • Submit periodic updates to the nodal agency or ZED cell, if required.

6. Promotion and Outreach

  • Promote the ZED scheme within industrial clusters, associations, and state-level forums.
  • Encourage MSMEs to adopt the ZED approach through awareness campaigns and workshops.

7. Compliance with Partner Guidelines

  • Follow ethical facilitation practices and maintain neutrality and integrity.
  • Adhere to timelines, confidentiality, and quality standards laid down by the organization and the implementing agency (QCI/RSJ).

Required Skills and Qualifications (Implied)

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of the MSME sector, government schemes (especially ZED), and quality management systems (like ISO standards or lean manufacturing).
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with MSME owners and effectively convey complex information.
  • Digital Proficiency: Ability to use digital tools, navigate online portals, and ensure the accurate utilization of the ZED mobile application.
  • Work Ethic: Professionalism, integrity, and willingness to travel extensively to work directly at MSME sites.
