Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, ensuring statutory compliance with GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations, and handling accounting for our e-commerce sales channels. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to grow with a dynamic company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
  • Handle all accounting entries, including sales, purchases, payments, and receipts in accounting software (Busy/Tally).
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), and perform GST reconciliation.
  • Manage TDS compliance, including deduction, timely payment, and filing of quarterly TDS returns.
  • Assist in the preparation and finalization of financial statements and support income tax filings.
  • Process and reconcile transactions from various e-commerce platforms.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
  • Prepare financial reports and analyses as required by the management.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: A minimum of one year of hands-on experience in a similar accounting role is mandatory.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) is highly preferred. Candidates from other streams with relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software, specifically Busy and/or Tally.
  • Strong practical knowledge of GST provisions, TDS regulations, and basic Income Tax laws.
  • Familiarity with accounting for e-commerce sales transactions.
  • Competency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
