Energy Analyst Renewable Energy

Job Description:

The Energy Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to energy consumption, generation, and efficiency in renewable energy projects. This role supports strategic decision-making and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze energy production and consumption data from solar, wind, and hybrid systems
  • Perform energy yield assessments and performance benchmarking
  • Develop models to forecast energy generation and ROI
  • Support feasibility studies and techno-economic evaluations
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for internal and client use
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve system efficiency
  • Stay updated on energy market trends and regulatory changes

Qualifications:

  • B.E./BTech in Energy, Electrical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering
  • MTech or MBA in Energy Management (preferred)

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Excel, Python, MATLAB, or R
  • Experience with PVsyst, HOMER, RET Screen
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills
  • Report writing and data visualization
