Energy Analyst Renewable Energy
Job Description:
The Energy Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to energy consumption, generation, and efficiency in renewable energy projects. This role supports strategic decision-making and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze energy production and consumption data from solar, wind, and hybrid systems
- Perform energy yield assessments and performance benchmarking
- Develop models to forecast energy generation and ROI
- Support feasibility studies and techno-economic evaluations
- Prepare reports and dashboards for internal and client use
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve system efficiency
- Stay updated on energy market trends and regulatory changes
Qualifications:
- B.E./BTech in Energy, Electrical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering
- MTech or MBA in Energy Management (preferred)
Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel, Python, MATLAB, or R
- Experience with PVsyst, HOMER, RET Screen
- Strong analytical and statistical skills
- Report writing and data visualization
