Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process for solar projects from conceptualization to commissioning, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop detailed designs, including PV system layout, cable sizing, and electrical equipment selection.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect installations and troubleshoot issues related to design implementation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to source high-quality components at competitive prices.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects by managing project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 5-8 years of experience in solar design engineering or a related field (B.Tech/B.E. Electrical or Energy).
  • Proficiency in software tools such as PVsyst & AutoCAD; strong understanding of data-driven yield & cost modeling techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal stakeholders (engineering teams) and external partners (suppliers).
  • Proven track record of leading teams towards achieving high-performance targets while maintaining efficiency levels.
