MINIMUM EXPERIENCE OF 5-8 YEARS IN RELEVANT FIELD IS MANDATORY
WORK EXPERIENCE WITH CONTRACTING COMPANIES /RESIDENTIAL HIGH RISE PROJECTS IS A MUST.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Assurance & Control:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific Quality Management Plan.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards (ISO, ASTM, ACI, BS, IS, etc.), and project specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction quality.
2. Inspection & Testing:
- Review material submittals, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
- Coordinate and witness material testing, concrete sampling, welding inspections, and other QA/QC checks.
- Conduct inspections for civil, mechanical, electrical, and finishing works as per project requirements.
3. Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain records of inspections, test results, calibration, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Prepare QA/QC reports and submit them to the Project Manager/Client.
- Track and close NCRs, Corrective Action Reports (CARs), and preventive measures.
4. Coordination & Compliance:
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for quality inspections and approvals.
- Ensure subcontractors and vendors follow the approved quality standards.
- Support audits (internal and external) and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 or equivalent QMS.
5. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify quality issues, propose corrective actions, and implement improvements.
- Provide training to site staff and workers on quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness across the project team.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5-8 years of QA/QC experience in contracting/construction companies.
- Strong knowledge of construction codes, standards, and specifications.
- Familiarity with QA/QC tools, ISO 9001 QMS, and relevant auditing practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and quality management software.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and resolve quality-related issues promptly.
Key Deliverables:
- Approved Quality Plan and ITPs.
- Timely inspection requests and approvals.
- Comprehensive quality documentation and test reports.
- Zero major non-conformance issues from clients/consultants.
- Continuous quality improvements in project execution.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to ₹55,000.00 per month
