JD: The role of Physician for VAAYU Occupational Respiratory Illness Centre:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physician to join our dynamic healthcare team at Vaayu Chest & Sleep Specialists, Jayanagar, Bangalore. This role offers a unique opportunity for early-career physicians to enhance their clinical skills and contribute to the diagnosis and management of patients with respiratory disorders in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and patient histories to assess respiratory health and conditions.
- Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary diseases, including asthma, COPD, and sleep apnoea.
- Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests, chest imaging, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Participate in patient education programs to promote lung health and disease prevention.
- Engage in continuous medical education and training to stay current with advancements in pulmonology.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- BAMS/MBBS Or MD degree from an accredited medical school.
- Strong clinical skills and a foundational understanding of pulmonary medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.
Preferred:
- Experience in a clinical setting, including rotations or internships focused on pulmonology.
- Fellowship training in Pulmonary Medicine is a plus but not required.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical documentation standards.
- Basic understanding of diagnostic imaging techniques, including CT scans and X-rays.
- Knowledge of current guidelines and best practices in the management of respiratory diseases.
