Job Title: Barista

Location: Sage & Lavender, Alwarpet, Chennai

Position Overview:

Sage & Lavender is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at our Alwarpet, Chennai location. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee, dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of all coffee products by properly calibrating and maintaining equipment, including espresso machines and grinders.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, taking orders, processing payments, and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including coffee preparation areas, equipment, and serving areas, in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies, and communicate any replenishment needs to management in a timely manner.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance coffee knowledge and develop new skills in brewing techniques, flavor profiles, and customer engagement.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the cafe, including assisting with food preparation, cleaning duties, and other tasks as needed.
• Uphold company standards for product quality, presentation, and customer service, striving to exceed customer expectations with every interaction.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role in the hospitality industry preferred.
• Diploma or Bachelor degree in Hotel Management

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18, ₹25,000.00 per month
