Position Summary:
Onity Group Inc. seeks a visionary technologist and leader to drive Innovation using emerging technologies and deliver on the digital transformation journey. Reporting to the VP of Digital Transformation, this role is critical in shaping the technology landscape and ensuring that innovative technological solutions support our business strategies and enhance operational efficiency, customer engagement, and market competitiveness. The focus of this role will be on the experimentation, pilot, and deployment of Digital tools & technologies such as Generative AI, Computer Vision, RPA, chatbots, and customer digital journeys in Servicing & Lending.
Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology architecture "digital" strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals and transforms to maintain a best-in-class operation.
- Own the overall digital technology stack and digital framework.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives across the organization, ensuring a seamless integration of technology into business processes through automation and strategic change management.
- Continuously assess current technology architecture and collaborate with executive leadership to ensure alignment between technology initiatives and business objectives.
- Identify emerging technologies and trends that enhance business operations and create competitive advantages.
- Leverage Digital technologies to design and implement business applications to improve cost per loan, customer experience, and operational efficiencies.
- Expert in RPA, Generative AI, CNN & RNN models for Vision OCR, and chatbots.
- Strong footing in Digital Architecture build-outs.
- Build coalitions across the organization, engaging with key stakeholders (including clients, partners and vendors) to identify technology needs and opportunities. Quickly understands the internal clients' processes and current technology ecosystem and maps it with the industry's best practices.
- Foster a culture of innovation that encourages experimentation and the adoption of new technologies, chiefly AI.
- Conduct road shows to educate the Enterprise on emerging technologies.
- Conduct Hackathons to get winning solutions deployed in the Digital space.
- Coach and influence business leaders to maximize the use of technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in IT, with a strong background in Digital Technologies.
- Experience in Fintech, Financial services or lending technology an added plus.
- Good understanding of US mortgages (lending processes and the technology stack used in the mortgage industry, including AI solutions in processes, optical character recognition solutions, and customer-facing and point-of-sale applications) an added plus.
- Proven history of successfully leading large-scale IT projects and teams in a transparent, collaborative, global environment.
- Aggressive focus on strategy, execution, and results.
- Exceptional communicator who tells an effective story and aligns stakeholders to it.
- Tools such as Python, RPA tools such as Uipath, AWS Bedrock, other deep learning models, UI/UX technologies.
