Senior Reservoir Engineer (Simulation)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Reservoir Engineer (Simulation) to join in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be responsible for advanced reservoir simulation studies to support field development planning, production optimization, and reserves estimation. The role requires strong technical knowledge of reservoir behavior, modeling techniques, and a solid understanding of Kuwait's geological formations.

Lead and perform reservoir simulation studies

  • evelop, update, and validate dynamic reservoir models for mature fields and new developments.
  • Collaborate with geoscientists, production engineers, and drilling teams to integrate static and dynamic data for reservoir characterization.
  • Propose and evaluate well placements, workovers, re-completions, and infill drilling opportunities.
  • Provide technical input for field development plans (FDPs) and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) projects.
  • Conduct history matching, forecasting, and sensitivity analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Support reserves estimation and reporting in accordance with SPE-PRMS guidelines.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal technical knowledge sharing.
  • Present technical findings and development strategies to internal stakeholders and, if required, to government and joint venture partners.
