Job Title: MIS Manager E Commerce

Location : Chhatarpur, South Delhi

Job Summary:

The MIS Manager will be responsible for managing the organization's data systems and analytics function. The role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from sales, inventory, and operations to support strategic decision-making. The MIS Manager will also oversee demand forecasting and ensure timely, accurate reporting from the MIS Executive.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Demand Analysis & Forecasting

• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors to forecast demand.
• Develop and maintain demand planning models to support production and procurement decisions.
• Provide insights on seasonal trends, product performance, and market dynamics.

2. Sales Data Analysis & Business Insights

• Monitor and evaluate sales performance against targets, identifying key growth areas or challenges.
• Prepare periodic sales performance reports and dashboards for management.
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide actionable insights to improve performance and strategy.
• Support pricing, product mix, and promotional analysis.

3. Inventory Analysis & Optimization

• Track and analyze inventory levels, turnover, and stock efficiency.
• Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or overstocked items and recommend corrective actions.
• Support inventory control measures and coordination between sales, procurement, and operations.

4. MIS Reporting & Team Management

• Oversee and guide MIS Executive in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and standardization of reports across departments.
• Develop and implement data visualization dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel-based tools).
• Train and mentor team members to improve analytical and reporting capabilities.

5. Process Improvement & Data Governance

• Streamline data collection and reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Coordinate with Sales Team and support them with required analysis
• Maintain data integrity, consistency, and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance system capabilities and automation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in data analysis, MIS, or business intelligence roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Proficiency in Excel (advanced level), SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in demand forecasting, sales analytics, and inventory management is essential.
