Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Interior Design or Architecture

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and develop design ideas based on client requirements and project briefs.
  • Prepare layout plans, 2D/3D drawings, and detailed working drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design software.
  • Select and recommend materials, color schemes, furniture, lighting, and décor elements.
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, and contractors to ensure timely project execution.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design accuracy and quality.
  • Prepare BOQs, material lists, and cost estimates for projects.
  • Present design proposals and mood boards to clients for approval.
  • Stay updated with current design trends, materials, and technology.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, 3ds Max, Revit, etc.).
  • Strong visualization, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of materials, finishes, and color theory.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
