Job Summary

The Data Entry Operator (DEO) in the Transport Department will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining transport-related data in company systems. The role requires attention to detail, coordination with field and operations teams, and ensuring timely documentation for vehicle movements, dispatches, and deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and update trip sheets, vehicle movement records, POD (Proof of Delivery) in the system.
  • Maintain transport-related MIS and daily dispatch reports.
  • Verify and cross-check vehicle documents, driver details, and route plans.
  • Coordinate with transport in-charge, warehouse, and accounts for billing and payment-related data.
  • Ensure timely data entry for vehicle load/unload status and delivery confirmation.
  • Maintain records of vehicle maintenance, gate pass, and trip closure documents.
  • Assist in preparing monthly and weekly transport MIS reports.
  • Support in reconciliation of transporter bills and trip expenses.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data accuracy in all operations.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Good typing speed and data accuracy.
  • knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Familiarity with transport or logistics documentation preferred.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum Qualification: 12th pass / Graduate (any stream).
  • Diploma in Computer Applications (ADCA or equivalent) preferred.
  • 0.5–2 years of experience in logistics, transport, or data entry role.
