About the Role

We are looking for a creative, technically strong, and highly adaptable Cinematic Videographer – Sony Specialist who can deliver stunning cinematic visuals for high-end wedding productions. If Sony cameras are your comfort zone, gimbals feel like an extension of your arm, and you can translate emotions into powerful visuals — we want you on our team.

This role requires exceptional shooting skills paired with a good editing mindset. We want more than a camera operator — we want a visual storyteller.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture cinematic-quality footage using Sony mirrorless systems (A7 Series / FX Series).
  • Operate Sony-compatible gimbals (DJI Ronin, Zhiyun, etc.) with smooth precision.
  • Shoot dynamic wedding events, both indoor and outdoor, maintaining creative framing and lighting.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director on shot planning and execution.
  • Contribute to basic to intermediate video editing (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci).
  • Manage and maintain camera equipment, gimbals, lights, batteries, and SD cards.
  • Work efficiently under tight schedules during live events.
  • Travel locally within Mumbai for shoots as needed.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on expertise with Sony mirrorless cameras.
  • Excellent gimbal balancing and motion control skills.
  • Good understanding of lighting (natural + artificial) and color tones.
  • Editing knowledge: syncing, cutting, basic color touch-ups.
  • Strong sense of composition, storytelling, transitions, and slow-motion execution.
  • Ability to handle fast-paced, high-pressure wedding shoots.
  • Professional, punctual, organized, and disciplined.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in cinematography or video shooting (wedding/event experience preferred).
  • A portfolio/showreel is mandatory.
  • Must reside in or near Vile Parle for easy commute.
  • Drone knowledge is an added advantage.
