Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor at Dr. G.U. Pope College of Engineering, located in Thoothukudi. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering lectures, preparing and grading examinations, advising students, participating in faculty meetings, and contributing to curriculum development. They will also engage in research activities and stay updated with advancements in their field.
Qualifications
- Expertise in the relevant academic discipline and a passion for teaching and mentoring students
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively deliver course material
- Proficiency in conducting and supervising research projects
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to curriculum development
- Experience with academic administration and participation in faculty committees is a plus
- Doctoral degree in the relevant field; Master's degree with significant industry experience may also be considered
