Role & responsibilities

  • Develop and conduct training sessions on microfinance principles, credit processes, group lending models (JLG/SHG), financial literacy, and field operations.
  • Deliver specialized training on gold loan products, gold appraisal procedures, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Design learning materials, manuals, and SOPs for microfinance and gold loan operations.
  • Conduct onboarding, refresher, and performance-based training for field and branch-level staff.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and field audits.
  • Provide practical training on gold valuation techniques, using tools such as touchstone, acid test, electronic testing kits, etc.
  • Ensure staff are skilled in identifying gold purity, weight, and counterfeit detection.
  • Educate staff on gold loan documentation, loan-to-value (LTV) ratio, and RBI norms.
  • Support operations in maintaining proper records, safety protocols, and compliance in gold loan handling.
  • Collaborate with operations and compliance teams to ensure training aligns with business goals and regulatory standards.
  • Provide field support and coaching to staff when required.
  • Prepare periodic reports on training coverage, trainee performance, and knowledge gaps.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidates from NBFC background,Sales Executive, Gold appraiser are welcome.

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of microfinance products, JLG/SHG methodology, and credit risk management.
  • Proficiency in gold appraisal techniques and knowledge of precious metal handling.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Training delivery and adult learning facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency in local language(s) and basic computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel frequently to rural branches and training centers.
