Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform, Cloud formation etc.
• Own end-to-end infrastructure right from non-prod to prod environment, including self-managed DBs, [On-premises and AWS/GCP cloud]
• Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
• Implement and support containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, etc.).
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or similar.
• Automate manual processes and improve system reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with developers to streamline code integration, testing, and deployment workflows.
• Ensure systems are compliant with security best practices and perform regular audits and updates.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Lead infrastructure projects and mentor junior team members.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer is preferred.
• Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (AWS preferred).
• Must have a firm hold on the container orchestration tool Kubernetes
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Go).
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Experience working with database technologies MongoDB/Redis/Elasticsearch/Kafka
• Improve observability of the system, troubleshoot production incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
• Familiarity with GitOps and modern DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced Agile environment is a plus.
