Job Purpose:

Responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of fire-fighting systems under AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) to ensure compliance with safety standards, system reliability, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive & breakdown maintenance of firefighting systems (hydrant, sprinkler, hose reel, fire pumps, extinguishers, fire alarm system, etc.).
• Ensure timely inspection, testing & servicing of all fire-fighting equipment as per NFPA/IS standards.
• Maintain proper documentation of service reports, checklists, and AMC records.
• Coordinate with clients for scheduling and execution of AMC visits and resolve site issues.
• Identify and troubleshoot faults in pumps, piping, valves, detectors, alarms, panels, and suppression systems.
• Supervise technicians/workers during AMC visits and ensure work is carried out safely and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory norms, and quality standards.
• Report to the Project/Service Manager regarding AMC status, spares requirement, and site observations.
• Support in emergency call-outs and ensure quick rectification of system breakdowns.
• Maintain good client relationships and assist in identifying opportunities for additional services or upgrades.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / ITI - Fitter / B.E. (Mechanical / Fire & Safety).
• 1–5 years of experience in Fire-fighting projects maintenance / AMC services.
• Knowledge of fire pumps, hydrant networks, sprinklers, fire alarm & detection systems.
• Ability to read system drawings & troubleshoot faults.
• Good communication & client-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel to different client sites as required.
• Knowledge of NFPA / IS standards will be an added advantage.
