Position: Packing In-charge

Location: Excipient Manufacturing Plant JRS Pharma & Gujarat Microwax Pvt. Ltd.

Qualication: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Chemical / Packaging / Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 56 years in Pharma / Excipient Manufacturing industry

Salary Range: Up to 7 LPA

Objective: To oversee and manage all packing operations within the

excipient manufacturing plant, ensuring compliance with GMP, safety, and

quality standards while meeting production timelines and optimizing

eiciency.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, supervise, and execute daily packing activities as per

production schedules.

Ensure adherence to GMP, GDP, and regulatory guidelines during

packing operations.

¢ Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams for

smooth operations.

¢ Monitor packing material availability, usage, and wastage control.

¢ Lead and manage packing team members, ensuring training and skill

development.

¢ Conduct line clearance, in-process checks, and ensure

documentation as per SOPs.

¢ Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate preventive

maintenance with engineering.

¢ Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance packing

eiciency and reduce downtime.

¢ Maintain strict compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety)

standards.

¢ Prepare reports on productivity, manpower utilization, and

operational eiciency.

Skills & Competencies

¢ Strong knowledge of packing machinery and material handling in

pharma/excipient manufacturing.

¢ Familiarity with GMP, GDP, ISO standards, and regulatory

compliance.

¢ Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.

¢ Strong documentation and reporting skills.

¢ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
