Role Title: M365/Modern Workplace Developer

Role & responsibilities

Core Consulting Skills

  • Tenant assessment and migration planning
  • Stakeholder communication and documentation
  • Change management and user adoption strategies
  • Risk analysis and mitigation during migrations

Technical Skills

Microsoft 365 & Migration Expertise

  • SharePoint Online architecture, permissions, and content migration
  • OneDrive and Teams migration strategies
  • Exchange Online mailbox migration
  • Experience with migration tools: Quest, ShareGate, BitTitan

Entra ID (Azure AD)

  • Identity provisioning and synchronization
  • Cross-tenant collaboration (B2B, B2C)
  • Conditional Access, RBAC, PIM
  • Entra ID Governance and lifecycle workflows

Security & Compliance

  • Microsoft Purview: DLP, Information Protection, eDiscovery
  • Defender for Office 365: threat protection and incident response
  • Secure Score optimization and audit log analysis
  • Insider risk management and compliance boundaries
  • Defender XDR

Device Management

  • Microsoft Intune: device enrollment, compliance policies, app deployment
  • Windows Autopilot and provisioning packages
  • Conditional Access based on device state
  • Co-management with Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Mobile Application Management (MAM) and BYOD strategies

Automation & Scripting

  • PowerShell for M365, SharePoint, and Entra ID automation
  • Microsoft Graph API for advanced operations
  • Automation of reporting, provisioning, and policy enforcement

Preferred candidate profile

  • Expertise in SharePoint Development, including workflows, SPFx, portal development, and search customizations.
  • Experience in OneDrive Migration and Migration Development (on-premise to cloud).
  • Strong understanding of Integration Apps and executing on-premise and online migrations using any tool.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 services, including O365, Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, Power BI, Stream, Yammer, Forms, and Dynamics 365.
  • Solid understanding of authentication, security, and compliance within Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with Intune, Autopilot, Windows Virtual Desktop, and Defender for Endpoint.
  • Hands-on expertise in Power Automate, Power Apps, Visual Studio, and Visual Studio Code.

Good to have:

Experience with Logic Apps and related Azure automation tools.

Ability to analyze business processes, document workflows, and write functional and technical specifications.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
