Role & responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining statutory compliance records including PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishment Act, Bonus, Gratuity, and other labour law documentation.
  • Support the preparation and filing of returns with statutory authorities.
  • Help maintain statutory registers, ledgers, and supporting documentation.
  • Learn and assist in day-to-day accounting activities such as voucher entries, reconciliations, vendor payments, and expense tracking.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for documentation and compliance support.
  • Assist in preparing MIS reports and basic financial summaries.
  • Provide support during statutory and internal audits.
  • Stay updated with regulatory changes and assist in implementing updates.
  • Collaborate with HR, auditors, and internal teams to support compliance and accounting processes.

Note: This is a 1-year trainee role with the opportunity for full-time employment based on performance.

Education Qualifications

  • Graduate in Commerce / Accounting.
  • Certification in Labour Law / Compliance preferred.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: 0-2 years of exposure in statutory compliance or accounting (internships or academic projects will be considered).
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the field of finance and compliance.
  • Ability to work with guidance and meet timelines .

Technical expertise need

  • Basic understanding of PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishment Act, Bonus, Gratuity, and other labour laws.
  • Familiarity with Tally / ERP software preferred.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel & MS Office.

Soft skill expertise need

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Problem-solving approach with eagerness to learn.
  • Team player with accountability and ownership mindset.
