Job description

1. Plan and organize photo shoots, including location scouting, prop selection, and equipment setup.
2. Apply knowledge of lighting techniques to create visually appealing and mood-enhancing photographs.
3. Review and select the best images from the shoot for further editing and processing.
4. Utilize photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) to enhance and retouch images while maintaining a consistent style.
5. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and equipment advancements to continually improve skills and creativity.
6. Maintain and care for photography equipment, including regular cleaning, software updates, and necessary repairs.
7. Edit raw footage into a cohesive and visually appealing video, following the given script, brief, or creative direction.

8. Colour grade and correct videos to achieve a consistent and visually pleasing look.

9. Organize and assemble video and audio assets, ensuring smooth transitions, logical sequencing, and proper synchronization.

10. Trim, cut, and rearrange footage to optimize the storytelling and pacing of the video.
11. Enhance videos with effects, graphics, titles, and animations, as required.
12. Collaborate with the production team to understand the project objectives, audience, and desired outcome.
13. Offer creative input and suggest improvements to enhance the overall quality of the video.
14. Stay updated with industry trends, new editing techniques, and software advancements to continuously improve editing skills and efficiency.
15. Maintain a well-organized library of video and audio assets for future use and easy retrieval.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Proficiency in video editing software, technical knowledge of photography and video formats and codecs. 1-3 years experience in the similar field.
