Position Title: Store Incharge

Department: Stores / Inventory Management

Location: Siddhpur

Reporting To: Operations Manager / Admin Manager

1. Position Overview

The Store Incharge manages the entire flow of materials and goods within the organization. This role ensures accurate stock levels, proper documentation, timely issue/receipt of materials, and smooth coordination with purchase, accounts, and project/production teams.

2. Key Responsibilities Inventory & Stock Management

  • Maintain accurate stock records for all incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Ensure daily stock updates, physical verification, and system entries.
  • Prevent shortages, over-stocking, and material wastage.
  • Conduct monthly/quarterly stock audits.

Material Handling

  • Receive materials with proper documentation (GRN, challan, invoices).
  • Inspect items for quality, quantity, and specification compliance.
  • Issue materials to departments as per approved requisitions.
  • Monitor safe storage, shelf-life, labeling, and preservation of goods.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare GRN, stock registers, consumption reports, and MIS reports.
  • Maintain inward/outward records and ensure compliance with company SOPs.
  • Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and vendor payments.

Store Operations

  • Organize store layout for easy access, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly tagged and tracked.
  • Monitor store staff, loaders, and helpers (if applicable).
  • Implement FIFO/FEFO methods where required.

Coordination & Communication

  • Work with the purchase team for material requirements and stock planning.
  • Inform management about low stock, slow-moving items, and discrepancies.
  • Liaise with vendors, transporters, and internal departments as needed.

Compliance & Safety

  • Follow company policies regarding material storage and handling.
  • Maintain safety standards, fire prevention measures, and housekeeping.
  • Ensure proper documentation for audits and statutory inspections.

3. Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree / diploma in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in store/inventory management.
  • Knowledge of ERP/software for inventory control (Tally, SAP, etc.).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

4. Additional Preferences

  • Experience in engineering, construction, manufacturing, or similar sectors.
  • Problem-solving approach and team coordination.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10, ₹15,000.00 per month
