Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented SDET-1 to join our QA team. You'll play a critical role in ensuring product quality through rigorous functional testing, automation scripts, and performance testing using JMeter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain functional and automation test cases for web and mobile applications.
  • Perform performance testing using Apache JMeter and analyze test results.
  • Execute regression and exploratory testing for new features and product updates.
  • Identify bugs, log issues in the bug tracking system, and collaborate with developers for resolution.
  • Work closely with the product and engineering team to understand requirements and improve test coverage.

Required Skills

  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in: Functional Testing (Manual or Automated), Automation Testing (Selenium/TestNG or similar frameworks), and Performance Testing using JMeter.
  • Basic understanding of REST APIs and tools like Postman
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA or similar.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment with minimal supervision.

Good to Have

  • Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitHub Actions
  • Knowledge of SQL for data validation.
  • Experience testing eCommerce or B2B platforms.
