Lead - Corporate Legal

Job Description
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including but not limited to IT agreements, NDAs, service contracts, licensing agreements, and NBFC-related legal documents.
• Vet contracts to ensure compliance with company policies, applicable laws, and NBFC regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including IT, compliance, procurement, and business teams to understand legal requirements and risks.
• Provide legal advice and risk analysis on contract terms, escalating issues as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and track agreements using basic Excel tools for reporting and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:

• Strong drafting and vetting skills for commercial agreements.
• Fair knowledge of IT agreements such as software licensing, SaaS agreements, data protection clauses, and related contractual terms.
• Good understanding of NBFC laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Basic proficiency in Excel (e.g., creating spreadsheets, using formulas, tracking data).
• Excellent communication as well as drafting skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
