Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Professor to lead academic, research, and industry engagement activities in the [Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical / Civil / Chemical Engineering] department. The role involves teaching, research supervision, curriculum development, and departmental management, with a focus on maintaining the institute's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic & Teaching:

  • Deliver advanced lectures, lab sessions, and practical demonstrations.
  • Mentor undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students in academic and research projects.
  • Supervise theses, dissertations, and capstone projects.
  • Develop and update curriculum to align with latest industry and technology trends.

Research & Innovation:

  • Lead and manage research projects.
  • Secure research funding from government and industry sources.
  • Publish research outcomes in reputed journals and conferences.
  • Encourage interdisciplinary research and collaboration across departments.

Departmental Leadership:

  • Supervise faculty research and provide academic guidance.
  • Conduct workshops, seminars, and conferences to disseminate knowledge.
  • Collaborate with industry partners for joint research, consultancy, and student internships.
  • Participate in academic committees, accreditation processes, and policy formulation.
  • Manage departmental resources, labs, and technical infrastructure.

Industry Collaboration & Consultancy:

  • Develop partnerships with leading companies for research and student projects.
  • Lead consultancy projects and applied research initiatives.
  • Provide expert guidance on technology implementation and problem-solving in industry projects.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Deep technical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline.
  • Research methodology, project management, and leadership skills
  • Strong mentoring and student guidance abilities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills

Qualifications & Experience:

  • PhD in the relevant engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of teaching/research experience in reputed institutions.
  • Proven track record of publications, patents, or industry collaborations.
  • Experience in curriculum development and academic administration is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60, ₹100,000.00 per month
