We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SQL Developer with 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in database design, complex SQL development, and performance tuning. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable and efficient database solutions, optimizing query performance, and collaborating closely with developers, data architects, and business analysts to support business requirements and improve system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure database solutions.
  • Write, review, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
  • Able to manage the SSRS and Sigma reprots
  • Analyze and improve the performance of existing queries and database systems.
  • Perform database performance tuning, including indexing strategies, query plan analysis, and resource optimization.
  • Work with development teams to design database schemas and ensure best practices in data modeling.
  • Design and implement ETL processes, data pipelines, and data validation routines as needed.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues in production environments.
  • Document database systems and processes for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6 - 10 years of experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in writing complex and optimized T-SQL/PL-SQL or other dialects depending on the platform (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.).
  • Experience in database design, normalization, and denormalization techniques.
  • Proven track record of query performance tuning and optimization.
  • Good understanding of reporting tool such as SSRS and Sigma reports.
  • Good understanding of execution plans, indexing, locking, and transaction control.
  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
