Key Responsibilities

Linux BSP & Driver Development

  • Develop and maintain Linux drivers for
    USB, PCIe, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART, SGPIO, eSPI
    .
  • Work on Linux
    kernel internals
    , subsystem integration, and board bring-up.

Debugging & Performance Optimization

  • Diagnose and resolve complex HW/SW issues using
    JTAG, GDB, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers
    .
  • Perform
    performance profiling
    , bottleneck analysis, and embedded system optimization.

Open-Source & Upstreaming

  • Contribute to
    Linux upstream
    or other open-source embedded projects.
  • Work with community standards and follow upstream best practices.

Required Technical Expertise

USB

  • Strong hardware + software understanding.
  • Experience with
    Linux host/class drivers
    and building drivers from scratch.

PCIe

  • Expertise in
    Root Port (RP)
    and
    Endpoint (EP)
    drivers.
  • Ability to design and develop PCIe Linux drivers from scratch.

Networking

  • Experience with
    Linux network drivers
    , networking stack, offload architecture.
  • Knowledge of
    IPSec, Firewall, SSL/TLS
    .
  • Ability to write networking drivers from scratch.

Display

  • Experience with
    HDMI, DisplayPort, Display Controllers
    ,
    DRM drivers
    .

Preferred Skills

  • Strong understanding of
    Linux BSP
    , kernel internals, and low-level programming.
  • Proven debugging expertise with JTAG, GDB, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers.
  • Hands-on
    hardware-software integration
    and system-level problem-solving.
  • Prior experience with
    Linux upstreaming
    is a plus.
