What are your contributions to the team?

• Lead an engaged and experienced team of 20( ) technical salaried employees towards delivery of critical parts supporting our aircraft in service, assembly lines, manufacturing sites and external customers.
• Assume all HR responsibilities of the Methods & NC Programming team, including the relationship with Tech Mahindra and their team supporting our activities.
• Ensure the conformity of methods processes and method agents training in alignment with Bombardiers Quality System.
• Foster a culture of excellence supporting production activities.
• Clarify roles & responsibilities of your team with internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate your teams activities across other functions within the organization.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure deployment of our Operational Excellence system.
• Coach your team to develop their talent within the organization.
• Optimize the sharing of knowledge and best practices throughout the organization.

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:

• You have experience with detail part manufacturing (Machined part, Sheet metal, Composite or surface treatment) and aircraft structural assemblies.
• You hold a bachelors degree in engineering or industrial engineering, or a college diploma with several years of experience working in a Methods or Quality team.
• You have minimum of five (5) years of experience.
• You have excellent management skills.
• You have good judgment, you are results oriented, able to work under minimum supervision and you observe tight delivery deadlines.
• You have extraordinary flexibility and are passionate about non-recurring work activities.
• You are fully bilingual (English and French) written and spoken.
• You have previous project management experience, would be an asset.
