Job Title: Service Delivery Manager Oracle Database Administrator

Location: Mumbai, Eastern suburbs (Work from Office)

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Oracle DBA Responsibilities

  • Database Installation, Configuration & Upgrades (Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard)
  • Performance Tuning & Optimization
  • Backup & Recovery (RMAN, datapump, etc.)
  • Security & User Management
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting
  • Patching & Maintenance
  • Automation via scripting (SQL, PL/SQL, Shell, etc.)

Service Delivery Management Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management – Act as the point of contact for database-related service delivery.
  • Service Level Agreement (SLA) Management – Ensure services meet agreed performance and uptime targets.
  • Incident & Problem Management – Own and coordinate database-related incidents, root cause analysis.
  • Change Management – Plan and oversee Oracle DB changes with minimal downtime and risk.
  • Capacity & Availability Planning
  • Reporting & Metrics – Generate and present database service performance reports.
