Job Description

This role is specifically for a Senior Staff position as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) focused on automation. Our team's primary focus is on developing cutting-edge AI solutions that empower drivers and fleets to identify unsafe driving scenarios in real-time, aiming to prevent accidents and reduce fatalities and injuries on the roads. Job Responsibilities

As a QA Lead Engineer for Automation, you will:

  1. Lead a team of manual/automation engineers.
  2. Establish, implement, and evolve formal QA processes.
  3. Design and develop testing infrastructure (tools, frameworks, reporting).
  4. Review design documents and collaborate with developers on test plans.
  5. Test software deployed across IoT devices and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
  6. Validate data platforms and machine learning models.
  7. Test driver monitoring and assistance algorithms; report KPIs.
  8. Handle production queries and ensure application stability.
  9. Communicate technical results effectively to diverse stakeholders.
Requirements
  1. Education: B.E / B.Tech, M.E / M.Tech with 7+ years of QA experience.
  2. Mindset: Detail-oriented, analytical, creative thinker with a passion for quality.
  3. Programming: Strong in Python and Shell scripting.
  4. Cloud: Experience with AWS or other cloud services.
  5. DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub automation.
  6. Databases: SQL/NoSQL knowledge; Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
  7. Automation: Experience in automation infrastructure, especially for ML/AI.
  8. Visualization: Exposure to data visualization tools is a bonus.
