  • Hair services: Perform a wide range of services, including washing, cutting, coloring (e.g., highlights, balayage), perming, straightening, and styling hair for various occasions.
  • Product sales: Advise clients on and sell professional hair care products, such as shampoos, conditioners, and treatments.
  • Client relationship management: Build relationships with clients to encourage repeat business, and proactively seek new clients.
  • Salon maintenance: Keep the workstation clean and sanitary, sterilize tools, and ensure the salon is tidy.
  • Appointment and payment management: Schedule and manage client appointments and handle payments for services.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Proficiency in a variety of cutting, coloring, and styling techniques.
  • Deep knowledge of current hair trends, styles, and techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and make clients feel comfortable.
  • Knowledge of different hair and scalp care products and treatments.
