This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we've announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. This Position Reports To
Division HR Manager, RARO

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Performance & Reward in a new global organization. You will work with diverse teams, influence strategic decisions, and help build a modern, data-driven total rewards function from the ground up. You will be part of the global team with responsibility for all things performance, reward and mobility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and governance of global and local employee benefits strategies, while ensuring alignment of benefits programs with business goals, HR strategy, and total rewards philosophy.
  • Oversee end-to-end administration of benefits policies, partnering with local HR teams and HR Services for effective execution.
  • Manage relationships with global and regional brokers, vendors, and third-party administrators, including contracts.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the benefits portfolio through benchmarking, market analysis, and opportunities for automation and simplification.

Beyond these core responsibilities, you will provide expert consultation to HR and business leaders, act as the HRIS process owner for your area, and lead benefits-related communications, training, and employee engagement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience for minimum 10 years in managing global benefits programs, ideally with exposure to U.S. and Canadian benefits landscapes.
  • Deep knowledge of benefits strategy, governance, vendor management, and compliance, with at least five years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across diverse geographies. Ability to work independently in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Experience with benefits administration platforms
  • Flexibility to support other Performance & Reward activities, with adaptability, innovation, and strong collaboration skills.
