About the Engagement

. This is a
project-based freelance engagement
with scope for long-term association based on performance, reliability, and compliance with quality standards.

Language Requirements
We are seeking translators for
all major Indian languages
, including but not limited to:

Hindi, English, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Odia, Assamese, Urdu, Sanskrit, Nepali, Konkani, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Manipuri, Bodo, Santhali, Maithili, Dogri, and other regional languages.

Scope of Work

• Translate documents with accuracy, contextual fidelity, and appropriate tone
• Handle
  legal, government, academic, corporate, and official documents
• Adhere strictly to client instructions, formatting guidelines, and terminology
• Conduct self-review to ensure linguistic and factual accuracy
• Incorporate revisions or corrections as required
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all materials and information

Preferred Location

- Delhi (NCR preferred)- While the work is largely remote,
Delhi-based translators will be preferred
for coordination purposes and for assignments requiring physical presence before authorities.

Educational Qualification

• Master's degree in the native / target language
  (mandatory)
• (e.g., M.A. in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, etc.)
• Additional qualifications in translation, linguistics, or literature are desirable.

Language & Technical Skills

• Excellent written English skills
  (mandatory), including strong grammar and comprehension
• Native or near-native proficiency in the target Indian language
• Ability to type in the target language using standard
  Unicode fonts
• Working knowledge of MS Word / Google Docs
• Familiarity with CAT tools is an advantage (not mandatory)

Certification & Official Presence

• Willingness and ability to
  appear in person before authorities
  such as
  Courts, Government Offices, or Embassies
  , if required, to
  certify or attest translations
• Availability for such assignments must be confirmed in advance
• All reasonable expenses incurred for official appearances will be reimbursed
  as per agreed terms

• Legal contracts, affidavits, and certificates
• Corporate and business documents
• Academic records and transcripts
• Media, transcription, and subtitling projects (where applicable)

Compensation

• Compensation is calculated
  per word / per page / per project
  , depending on assignment type
• Rates are communicated and agreed upon
  prior to allocation of work
• Payments are released
  after client approval
  , as per the agreed payment cycle

• Strict adherence to deadlines and quality standards
• Professional conduct and clear communication
• Willingness to sign
  Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
  and declarations, if required
• Compliance with ethical and legal standards applicable to translation and certification work
