Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Chief Engineer located in Mumbai. The Assistant Chief Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of the hotel's facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building upkeep. They will ensure that all systems are functioning optimally and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include supervising the engineering team, coordinating with other departments for repair and maintenance needs, and managing budgets and resources efficiently.
Qualifications
- Experience in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Strong supervisory and team management skills
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance standards
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in managing budgets and resources effectively
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
