Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tax Consultant located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Tax Consultant will be responsible for managing tax planning, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, preparing tax filings, handling tax audits, and staying informed about current tax laws. The role requires collaboration with internal teams, identifying opportunities for tax savings, and addressing tax-related queries with accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Tax Planning and Tax Compliance to effectively manage organizational tax obligations.
  • Skills in Tax Preparation and familiarity with filing returns for both direct and indirect taxes.
  • Experience in conducting Tax Audits and identifying areas for improvement in tax processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Tax Law to stay updated on changes in regulations and ensure adherence.
  • Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and effective collaboration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field; a CPA, CA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Work experience in a similar role, ideally within a retail or corporate environment, is beneficial.
