Job Description

Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for projects.

Analyze project drawings, specifications, and contract documents for accurate estimation.

Evaluate material, labor, and subcontractor costs for budgeting purposes.

Identify cost-saving measures and value engineering solutions to optimize project expenses. Prepare and submit tenders, RFQs (Request for Quotations), and RFPs (Request for Proposals).

Conduct rate analysis and market benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing.

Coordinate with procurement teams to obtain vendor quotations for materials and services.

Ensure compliance with contract conditions, project scope, and financial constraints. Prepare client running bills (RA bills), final bills, and progress invoices as per contract terms.

Verify and certify subcontractor/vendor bills based on site execution.

Maintain Measurement Books (MBs) and work completion records for billing accuracy.

Ensure adherence to GFC (Good for Construction) drawings and contract agreements before billing. Review and interpret contract agreements to ensure billing and estimation compliance.

Track approved vs. actual project costs and update estimates as needed.

Handle contract amendments, variations, and claims.

Ensure all contract terms, escalation clauses, and deviations are properly documented.
