About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong background in

corporate tax accounting, deferred tax, and tax note disclosures under various GAAP

frameworks. The ideal candidate will support regional and global tax reporting for entities

across UK, EMEA, and APAC, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely tax reporting within a

Big 4 / shared services environment.

Key Responsibilities:


• Prepare and review corporate tax computations, tax provisions, and deferred tax

calculations for multiple global entities (UK, EMEA, APAC).


• Support the preparation of tax note disclosures in statutory accounts in accordance with

IFRS / UK GAAP / Ind AS.


• Perform quarterly and annual tax reporting and support consolidation at the group

level.


• Liaise with onshore tax teams, finance controllers, and auditors during period-end

closing and statutory audits.


• Ensure accurate accounting for current and deferred taxes in line with group and

regional accounting policies.


• Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements, automation, and

control enhancements within the tax reporting framework.


• Maintain tax-related documentation, reconciliations, and working papers to support tax

provisions and disclosures.


• Stay updated on regional tax regulation changes, GAAP updates, and emerging tax

reporting requirements.


• Provide support for ad hoc tax projects, including tax accounting automation,

intercompany adjustments, and system migrations.

Key Skills / Competencies:


• Solid understanding of corporate tax accounting principles and deferred tax concepts.


• Proficiency in tax note preparation and disclosures under IFRS / UK GAAP / Ind AS.


• Exposure to global tax reporting processes within a shared service or Big 4 setup.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.


• Experience in using ERP and tax systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, OneSource, Alteryx).


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across geographies.

Qualification/ Experience:


• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent (ACA / ACCA preferred).


• 4-8 years of relevant experience in corporate tax accounting and reporting.


• Prior experience in a Big 4 firm, shared services center, or multinational tax

environment is essential.


• Exposure to regional tax laws and accounting practices in UK, EMEA, or APAC

regions.
