We are seeking a 
Piping Design Engineer
 for a leading 
Waste Management and Water Treatment Engineering
 firm. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in 
piping design, CAD tools, and layout development
 for 
water and wastewater treatment plants
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop piping layouts and systems for 
    water and wastewater treatment plants
    , based on 
    PFDs, P&IDs
    , and equipment layouts.
  • Conduct 
    stress analysis
     and feasibility studies to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
  • Specify materials, valves, supports, and pipe sizes as per 
    ASME, API, and local codes
    .
  • Prepare 
    2D/3D models, isometric drawings, and BOMs
     using tools like 
    AutoCAD Plant 3D, PDMS
    , etc.
  • Collaborate with 
    process, civil, mechanical, and electrical teams
     to resolve clashes and ensure optimal system integration.
  • Conduct 
    site visits
    , review installations, and assist in commissioning activities.
  • Prepare 
    technical documentation, design reports, and cost estimates
    .
  • Ensure compliance with 
    engineering codes, standards, and safety regulations
    .

Key Skills

  • CAD Software:
     AutoCAD Plant 3D, PDMS
  • Piping Stress Analysis & Feasibility Studies
  • Knowledge of Water/Wastewater Processes
  • Project Coordination & Technical Documentation
  • Understanding of Codes & Safety Regulations

Requirements

  • Education:
     Bachelor's degree (or higher) in 
    Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering
    .
  • Experience:
     2–6 years in 
    Piping Design
     (preferably in Water Treatment / Petrochemical / Process Industries).
  • Technical Expertise:
     CAD tools, piping standards (ASME, API).
  • Soft Skills:
     Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Availability:
     Immediate to 30 Days joiners preferred.
