Job Title: Senior Electrician

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Experience Required: Minimum 4 years

Education Qualification: ITI in Electrical (Electrician Trade)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. The Senior Electrician will also guide junior technicians and ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and circuit diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices.
• Supervise and guide junior electricians or helpers when required.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repair work.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other departments for electrical requirements.
• Ensure proper installation and functioning of control panels, distribution boards, and switchgears.

Required Skills & Technical Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Expertise in installation of wiring, conduits, MCBs, MCCBs, relays, and control panels.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools (multimeter, megger, clamp meter, etc.).
• Knowledge of industrial and commercial electrical systems.
• Ability to diagnose and fix electrical faults quickly.
• Understanding of safety procedures, electrical load calculations, and earthing systems.
• Knowledge of DG sets, transformers, motors, starters (DOL, Star-Delta), and VFDs (optional but preferred).
• Familiarity with electrical standards and regulations.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Leadership skills to guide junior staff.
