As an Automation Test Engineer located in Erode or Coimbatore, you will need to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in automation testing using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Your responsibilities will involve: - Designing, maintaining, and enhancing automation test frameworks. - Performing regression, smoke, and sanity testing through automation suites. To excel in this role, proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C# is essential. Additionally, hands-on experience with TestNG, JUnit, Postman, Git, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins is necessary. Familiarity with both web and optionally mobile automation, with knowledge of tools like Appium, is considered a plus. A strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), defect lifecycle, and exploratory testing is required. You should be capable of effectively documenting test cases, test results, and reporting bugs. Collaboration with developers, QA leads, and product teams to ensure quality delivery is a crucial part of this role.
