Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts (Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks/ERP, etc.).
- Prepare and review journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Handle accounts payable & receivable, invoicing, and vendor reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory obligations: GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, and Income Tax.
- Assist in preparation of MIS reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Support in monthly/quarterly/annual closing of accounts.
- Coordinate with internal/external auditors for statutory & tax audits.
- File GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9), TDS returns, and other regulatory filings.
- Maintain asset registers, depreciation schedules, and stock records.
- Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliation, and petty cash management.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards (Ind AS) and company policies.
