Key Responsibilities

  1. Application Development

  2. Build
    custom applications
    in ServiceNow using
    ServiceNow Studio
    or
    App Engine Studio
    .

  3. "Scoped applications" = apps built in their own
    sandbox environment
    (safe & isolated), so they don't interfere with core ServiceNow apps.

  4. This ensures flexibility and avoids risk to the main platform.

  5. Workflow Automation

  6. Design and implement
    automated workflows
    so that business processes run smoothly without manual work.

  7. Work with:
  8. Flow Designer
    (no-code/low-code workflow builder).
  9. Business Rules
    (server-side logic to automate actions).
  10. Client Scripts
    (custom scripts for form/UI behavior).
  11. UI Policies
    (dynamic form behavior, like making fields mandatory/hidden).

  12. Basically, you'll make the platform "smart" so it handles tasks automatically.

  13. Integration

  14. Connect ServiceNow with
    other enterprise systems
    (like HR, Finance, CRM, or IT tools).

  15. Use
    APIs (REST/SOAP)
    to push/pull data between ServiceNow and external applications.
  16. Use
    IntegrationHub
    (ServiceNow's integration engine) to simplify and standardize these connections.
