Job Title: Software Tester (Automation Preferred)

Location: Thrissur, Kerala

Experience: Minimum 1 year

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.Tech) or equivalent

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our team in Thrissur. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in software testing, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in automation testing. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products through manual and automated testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases, scripts, and plans for manual and automated testing.
  • Identify, record, and track bugs using appropriate tools.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality across all project stages.
  • Perform regression testing, functional testing, and performance testing as needed.
  • Prepare detailed test reports and communicate test results effectively.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in software testing (manual or automation).
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar preferred.
  • Experience in bug tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Java, Python, or similar) is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
