Job Description Medical Coder (Surgery – SDS/General)

Location: Hyderabad / Chennai

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Only

Certification: CPC / CCS (Mandatory)

Experience: Minimum 1 Year

Package: Up to 7- 10 LPA

Responsibilities:

  • Review Surgery (SDS/General) operative reports and clinical documents.
  • Assign accurate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes as per guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with NCCI edits, payer policies, and coding standards.
  • Meet daily productivity and quality targets.
  • Collaborate with audit/QA team for process improvements.

Job Description – QA (Medical Coding – Surgery/General)

Certification: CPC / CCS

Experience: Minimum 5 Years

Package: Up to 12 LPA

Responsibilities:

  • Audit surgery/general coding charts with high accuracy.
  • Identify error patterns and prepare audit reports.
  • Provide feedback & training to coders.
  • Ensure compliance with client expectations and coding guidelines.
  • Support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
