About The Opportunity
A clinical role in the Healthcare sector — Tertiary Care Hospital & Surgical Services focusing on Urology, Renal Stone Disease, and Uro-Oncology. This is an on-site Consultant Urologist position in India providing high-quality outpatient care, operative services, emergency urology coverage, and multidisciplinary management for complex urological conditions.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide independent clinical care as a Consultant Urologist across outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, and surgical theatres—diagnose, plan, and execute treatment pathways.
  • Perform and supervise key urological procedures including endourology, TURP, PCNL, cystoscopy, and laparoscopic urological surgeries with strong emphasis on perioperative safety and outcomes.
  • Lead multidisciplinary case discussions for uro-oncology, stone disease, and reconstructive cases; coordinate care with nephrology, radiology, pathology, and anaesthesia teams.
  • Manage on-call emergency urology responsibilities including acute urinary retention, obstructive uropathy, haematuria, and trauma-related urological emergencies.
  • Drive clinical governance: maintain detailed operative notes, participate in morbidity & mortality reviews, implement evidence-based protocols, and support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise and mentor junior surgeons, residents, and nursing staff; contribute to training, audit, and research activities in the department.

Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have

  • Transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP)
  • Percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL)
  • Endourology and ureteroscopy
  • Cystoscopy
  • Urodynamic testing and interpretation
  • Laparoscopic urological surgery

Preferred

  • Robotic-assisted urological surgery
  • Laser lithotripsy (HoLEP / laser enucleation)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
